11. (Bogart) (13↑, 6↓)
The traditional slang definition of "Bogart": To hold on to a joint too long without passing it on. Comes from the fact that Humphrey Bogart used to smoke like a train in his movies. So the person holding on to the joint too long is said to be "bogarting" it. Other people may use this word for other purposes nowadays, but this is the traditional slang definition. Its use in this context was probably first documented in popular culture in the 1968 song "Don't Bogart Me" by The Fraternity of Man, featured in the "Easy Rider" soundtrack

Don't bogart that joint, my friend Pass it over to me. Don't bogart that joint, my friend Pass it over to me. Roll another one Just like the other one. This one's burnt to the end Come on and be a friend.

The term 'Bogart' as it has been defined here only exemplifies part of the meaning. It has nothing to do specifically with 'hogging' a joint or smoking in general. It is a VERB describing an act of boldness and fearlessness as was exhibited by Bogart in most of his film roles. You Bogart your way into your boss' office when you don't care what the secretary says. You 'Bogart' your way into traffic when no one will let you into your lane and you 'Bogart' a joint when you could care less that anyone else is waiting for a hit. This is the real origin of the term, "Don't Bogart that joint."

If you think you're just going to 'Bogart' me around like this, you are mistaken.

Yo, puff puff pass and know ninja lipping. Ya heard. Got friends that drull all on yo shit? If so they should'nt be smoking anything rolled at all. Teach them to be concious of that shit. But some will never learn. Why? I have no clue. Maybe it's a salavatory gland disorder. Through the druller the roach. I know it's hard when it's someone you respect, but you can't even get a smooth direct charge when the paper is all soggy. And on top of that, they don't even pass the shit after hitting it twice. Some people have no shame, none. Just don't resort to harsh words or violence. They are'nt worth your time. "They", being the fucking druller and bogarters. Damn them all to hell. Alright that's a little harsh.
